GReFORM Monitoring Meeting - Palermo 10/11 July 2019
The third monitoring meeting took place in Palermo, hosted by the University of Palermo on the 10th and 11th of July 2019.
At the beginning of the conference there was an introductory session by Mr. Paolo Bertaccini Bonoli, Advisor to the Head of Italian Governmental Office for Sport regarding the Anti-Match Fixing Formula Project (AMFF) (http://www.anti-match-fixing-formula.eu/index.php/eng/).
The main objective of the AMFF Project is to develop a European integrated private-public model for match-fixing prevention through a tailored selection of European good practices which can suit and strengthen the existing Italian advanced cooperation on good practices. Based on the need to build a strong environment and culture on the basis of sports, the culture of reporting has to be from the grassroots.
Among the main project’s outcomes is the development of two online protected reporting systems www.sportpulitoitalia.it and www.rischioreatosport.it that enable the reporting of suspicious match-fixing incidents.
Following this session, there was an update on the status of the project and then the rest of the seminar was devoted on the presentation of the Test Online Platform, the results of the pre pilot testing and there was a thorough discussion on how we move forward with the pilot testing and the development of online materials.
Finally at the end of the seminar, there was a small presentation of EASM activities and it was agreed that the project will be present on the 27th EASM Conference that will take place on September in Seville.
GReFORM Monitoring Meeting - Patra 14/15 November 2018
The second monitoring meeting took place in Parta, hosted by the University of Patras, on the 15th and 16th of November 2018.
The participants were initially informed about the progress of the program and about the results of the research which was carried out under the program. The results were analyzed in order to determine the educational needs of the sport voluntaries board members.
Also there was a presentation of a draft questionnaire that will be used to determine 20 best good practices.
Much of the conference was devoted to defining the lecture modules that should be created and be part of the online platform. The modules and sub modules were precisely identified and assigned to each professor who will have the responsibility to develop the online materials.
Finally in the context of 19th Congress of the Hellenic Scientific Association for Sport Management & Recreation (HSASMR 2018) which was held in Patra on the 16th of November, the project and its objectives were presented to a varied audient who attended the HSASMR 2018 (students,academics, practicioners and policy-makers).
GReFORM press conference (14/02/18)
The kickoff meeting for the Erasmus+ Sports project entitled "Good Governance enhancement through e-Learning for Sport Volunteer Board Members (GReFORM) took place in Cyprus on February 14th and 15th, 2018.
The meeting took place at UCLan Cyprus, on the university premises, and all consortium members were present.
A press conference where the project was introduced to the public was colocated with the kickoff meeting and members from Cyprus Sport Organisation and UClan Cyprus took the stage.
